Background
Semiconductors are at the heart of the technologies shaping our future, powering artificial intelligence, smart mobility, robotics, advanced manufacturing, digital infrastructure, quantum technologies, and next-generation computing systems. As the semiconductor industry continues to evolve amid rapid technological innovation and changing global supply chains, strengthening international collaboration in research, education, talent development, and industrial partnership has become more important than ever.
Japan has long-standing strengths in semiconductor research, materials, devices, manufacturing technologies, packaging, equipment, design, and industrial know-how. Vietnam is emerging as a dynamic and promising semiconductor hub through strategic investments in human resource development, academic programs, research capabilities, innovation ecosystems, and industry-oriented policies. These complementary strengths create unprecedented opportunities for deeper cooperation between the two countries.
Against this background, VJSS-2026 aims to serve as a vibrant bridge connecting researchers, students, universities, companies, government agencies, and public institutions from Vietnam, Japan, and the international community. More than a traditional academic conference, VJSS-2026 is envisioned as a collaborative platform where scientific discoveries, technological innovations, educational initiatives, and industrial needs can converge to generate meaningful partnerships and long-term impact.

Submission Guidelines
Abstract Requirements
Authors wishing to present their work at VJSS 2026 are invited to submit an abstract in English. Each submission should include the title of the presentation, author names and affiliations, the corresponding author's full contact information, the preferred presentation format (oral or poster), the relevant symposium theme, an abstract of approximately 200–300 words, and three to five keywords. VJSS 2026 welcomes contributions from academia, industry, and government, and particularly encourages submissions from graduate students, early-career professionals, and industry researchers.
Publishing Opportunity
Selected contributions will be invited to submit full manuscripts for consideration for publication in the VJSS-2026 Proceedings (with ISBN). Outstanding manuscripts may also be recommended for publication in special issues of international journals or other post-symposium publication opportunities. Detailed information on manuscript preparation, formatting requirements, templates, submission procedures, important deadlines, and the review process will be announced in due course.
